An international FinTech firm is searching for an IT Support Officer to join their team in Malta. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure issues are logged, prioritized and categorized using the support desk ticket system with high accuracy and ensure ITIL procedures are followed.

Provide support via walk-up, remote or deskside, ensuring incidents are raised and maintained, keeping an accurate record of actions taken in the support desk system

Maintain ownership of incidents, escalating to 2nd/3rd line where appropriate, keeping in compliance with the company SLAs.

Ensure all new starter tickets and equipment is setup prior to their start date

Daily maintenance checks on office technology such as: Printers, Meeting room VC & Telephone equipment, TV Wall and performing daily floor walks.

Preparing, enrolling and configuration of Alpha computers

User Access Management for joiners, movers and leavers.

User management in Azure AD, Office 365, VPN, telephone systems and other SaaS services

Deskside installation - Monitors, docks, telephone etc

Installation of business approved software and bespoke applications

Assist in the delivery of project work
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.

Able to commit to full office based role (Hybrid working not available)

Experience or knowledge in Microsoft technologies, such as Office365 suite, Intune & Azure Active Directory

Familiar with Win10 and Apple macOS operating systems.

Highly organised with the ability to work at pace with a ‘get things done’ attitude.

Pro-active approach with a mindset of looking for constant improvement in all aspects of their work.
