MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Assess and evaluate health insurance applications in line with company policies
- Analyse insurance claims to ensure accuracy and validity
- Support senior underwriters in drafting underwriting decisions
- Maintain comprehensive records of underwriting activities and claims
- Collaborate with the claims team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist in the development and improvement of underwriting processes and procedures
- Provide insights and recommendations based on claims analysis to help shape underwriting strategies
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- An advanced level of education and an ordinary level in biology and accounting will be considered an asset
- An insurance qualification or experience helps, however on the job training and training sponsorships is available
- Experience in an Insurance setting or a health/customer care related discipline
- IT proficiency
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese
