On behalf of our client, a well-established Group operating in Shipping, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Junior IT Support Officer to be based in Limassol. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing first-line I.T. support to end users and resolving day-to-day technical issues.

Liaising with the Company's external I.T. providers and coordinating support requests.

Installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, servers, cloud and other I.T. equipment.

Assisting with the maintenance of the Company's network infrastructure, hardware and software.
-
Performing software installations, updates and operating system upgrades.
-
Monitoring the Company's I.T. infrastructure and escalating issues were required.

Maintaining the Company's I.T. asset register and support documentation.

Supporting user account administration, onboarding and offboarding.

Assisting with GDPR, cyber security and information security procedures.

Supporting I.T. projects and other ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Previous experience in an I.T. support role will be considered an advantage.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and computer hardware.

Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
