GRS Recruitment is working closely with a leading international group to recruit a Junior Online Payments Account Manager to join their dynamic Payments team based in Paphos. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and motivated individual looking to grow within the online payments sector. The successful candidate will support the operational and control functions of the Payments department, ensuring efficient daily performance and ongoing optimisation of the company’s global payment ecosystem.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research to identify, assess, and recommend new payment methods and providers.
- Support the onboarding and integration processes for new payment partners.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing payment providers.
- Manage and update due diligence (KYC/AML) documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Stay informed of changes in payment scheme requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Optimise payment flows across front-end and back-end systems to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor daily transaction performance by country, issuing bank, card type, and other metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvements.
- Prepare and analyse regular reports to identify issues, recommend improvements, and support management decision-making.
- Detect and address suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Handle customer inquiries related to payments, providing timely and professional resolutions.
- Support senior management with detailed reports, insights, and recommendations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- BSc/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an online or fintech environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- A motivated and curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
