GRS Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Learning & Development Lead to join a dynamic Forex Trading company based in Limassol. Our client, a private firm with a dedicated team of 36-65 employees, is seeking a passionate HR professional with a solid background in Forex/Fintech to help drive their learning and development initiatives. The Learning and Development Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing learning and development programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals. This crucial role involves collaborating with various departments to identify learning needs, ensure we meet our statutory learning requirements, developing tailored programs, and ensuring a culture of continuous employee development across the organisation.  
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy, built on the principles of modern learning and 70:20:10, enabling personal accountability and supporting the company's business objectives. 
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and design customised learning approaches and programmes to address identified needs. 
  • Engage colleagues with diverse perspectives in the development of annual plans and ensure effective communication and engagement, working with Marketing, senior leaders and other colleagues as required to define and engage everyone in creating a learning culture. 
  • Embed our company Values through our learning and development offer and ensure all interventions support equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Manage, develop, and undertake a range of activities to ensure our learning management system (currently SEEDL) becomes the home of workplace learning.  Lead the creation and delivery of a range of learning materials, workshops, and e-learning courses.
  • Commission (internally or externally) and/or deliver a range of practical learning and development solutions that enable colleagues across the business to have the capabilities, knowledge and confidence required so that we at the Group achieve our vision. 
  • Responsible for ensuring an appropriate technical learning and development offer which ensures our workforce understand the industry we work in, alongside developing the knowledge and capabilities for role specialisms.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and external providers to ensure we have an appropriate mandatory learning offer in place which means we meet our statutory requirements across the group.
  • Work with senior leaders, managers and the wider workforce to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the company.
  • Work with the business to develop learning and developmental pathways, enabling career pathways, alongside breadth and depth opportunities in line with future and current business needs.
  • Collaborate with Heads and Leads to align learning and development with business goals and employee performance metrics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development interventions, make and implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure effective data, analysis and reporting to facilitate business decisions related to Learning and Development budgets, annual priorities and to address risks and issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, continually developing our offer to ensure it is effective, engaging and meets the needs of our employees and business.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Ideally, would have experience of working within Global organisations and/or with different cultures.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful learning and development interventions that deliver business results. 
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and modern learning design.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant technology tools.
  • Experience of developing learning and development strategies and learning needs analysis.
  • Ability to design career and development pathways to meet the needs of the business and external requirements.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think long-term and align learning and development initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Effective Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical skills to evaluate learning and development interventions effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptable: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Innovative: Creativity in commissioning and designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.
