Our client, a Global Gaming company with over 30 years’ experience in both online and on-land gaming such as casino games, sports betting, and poker, etc. GRS are now seeking a Senior Legal and Compliance Officer to support the Business and Commercial Agreements team in Malta. To be successful in this role you would ideally come from a legal education background and have knowledge of compliance matters (KYC, AML, audit etc). Ideally, you should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (ideally have gaming experience). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support on various legal matters

Responsible for KYC, UBO , and bank requests

Legal support for corporate governance matters

Contact point for MGA compliance matters & Audit

Ensure compliance to MGA matters

Responsible for the GDPR matters

Maintain a legal watch on all matters relevant to the company’s activities
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
At least a bachelor’s degree in the Legal area
-
At least 2 - 3 years’ experience. Gambling experience is an asset.

Excellent command of English and knowledge of French is an asset

An excellent knowledge of compliance matters (KYC, AML, audit,…)

Flexible, you can manage with different legal & compliance matters
