MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly report to the CEO and Head of Legal in Spain.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, terms and conditions, and other legal documentation. Provide legal advice on any legal/contractual issues.

Supervise and communicate with external law firms regarding case strategies, legal opinions, and studies.

Assist with and manage all corporate governance matters, including shareholder and board resolutions, M&A amendments, registrations, and follow-up with the Registry of Companies.

Monitor and advise on legal proceedings before courts, authorities, and governmental agencies.

Provide necessary legal information and advice concerning local and European laws and regulations.

Support other company departments (Finance, IT, Commercial, HR, etc.) with regulatory guidance.

Oversee the Privacy Policy framework and ensure compliance with Data Protection/GDPR matters.

Advise business units to ensure all activities align with legal requirements and risks are mitigated appropriately.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Fully qualified with a Law degree.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial, Contractual, Data Protection, and Corporate Law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
- Ability to quickly understand business needs, anticipate potential issues, and provide risk management recommendations.
- Proactive team player, self-motivated, autonomous, tenacious, uses initiative, and problem-solves effectively.
- Availability to travel within Europe may be required.
