Our client, a leading corporate law firm with offices in Limassol and Nicosia, is seeking exceptionally talented Corporate Lawyers to join their Financial Services team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and update client accounting records with accuracy and timeliness.

Provide expert advice to clients navigating the Cyprus and EU legal and regulatory framework in the financial services sector.

Offer guidance on all legal and regulatory matters, including banking, investment services, payment services, crypto assets, funds, and capital markets regulation.

Liaise with a diverse client base, including domestic, EU, and non-EU credit and financial institutions, investment firms, collective investment vehicles, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.

Support business development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s strategic growth.

Anticipate and address client challenges proactively.

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of junior lawyers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

A Bachelor’s degree in Law.
-
Minimum 8 years’ experience in a corporate legal role.

Strong legal expertise in one or more of the following areas: corporate and commercial law, contract law, financial services, and banking regulations.

Familiarity with multiple sectors and industries.

Practical understanding of cross-border transactions, particularly with key investment destinations from Cyprus.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex global organization.

Commercial awareness and market intelligence.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, managerial, and negotiation skills.

Professional discipline and readiness to assume responsibility.

Ability to act as a brand ambassador for the firm at all times.
