GRS is currently recruiting for an esteemed company in the Aviation industry, specializing in international cargo logistics and aircraft technical solutions. We are seeking a Legal Officer to join their team. In this role, the selected candidate will report directly to the General Counsel and work from the head office in Luqa. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive legal support for all issues arising from international operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Crafting and evaluating diverse legal documents spanning from commercial law to aviation law and other international legal matters.

Offering comprehensive corporate guidance and aiding in internal corporate operations.

Aiding in the drafting and structuring of intra-group transactions along with necessary compliance procedures.

Handling all essential company secretarial tasks.

Delivering timely legal counsel to both the group of companies and management.

Managing and resolving cargo claims as they arise.
COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

At least 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (preferred).

Prior experience in international taxation or international business is advantageous.

Exposure to Aviation and/or Shipping sectors is beneficial.

Capable of working autonomously.

Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Strong teamwork aptitude.

Open-minded and adaptable to an international work environment.

Energetic with a solid work ethic.

Proficient in multitasking.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.

While experience in Aviation and/or Shipping is advantageous, it is not essential.
