A privately managed and owned independent marine insurance broker are working with GRS to recruit a Marine Insurance Technician for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role with a high fluency in English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Production of insurance documentation (e.g.: slips, cover notes, endorsements etc.).

Produce debit/credit notes and closings for Underwriters.

Keep required records, reports and files in an organised manner and locate these for Management when required.

Calculating premiums and processing entries on to our inhouse broking system.

Support to broking team building and sustaining relationships with other team members in order to resolve any processing problems.

Be responsible for own workflows, filling in accurate data within an "inhouse" system.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role.

Insurance qualifications considered advantage although training and continued study is supported. Knowledge of Marine Insurance not essential.

Educated to Degree/ Diploma level.

Strong computer skills in MS Office especially MS Excel and fast learner of broking software.

Ability to work under pressure.

Self-initiative, strong & enthusiastic personality

Fluency in English essential, but other languages advantageous.
