On behalf of our Client, operating in the Real Estate, Hospitality and Marine Industry, GRS are seeking to recruit a MEP Engineer, to join their continuously expanding team in Larnaca. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience as a MEP Engineer with solid experience in reviewing/ design delivery reports, technical reports. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Track Project's Technical and Administration Progress
  • Review design delivery reports, technical report, technical models, drawings and specifications
  • Monitor the Design Schedule and timelines of consultant’s deliverables
  • Prepare Progress Reports for the project status, timeline, on a weekly basis
  • Host weekly syncs, documenting milestones, action items, and escalation points
  • Manage potential scope/planning changes against the original Project objectives/briefs to ensure the Project stays within time, quality, and cost targets
  • Monitor all design information and ensure that all calculations are prepared and signed off in accordance with the requirements of the QA procedures, relevant Standards and Codes of Practice
  • Ensure tasks meet agreed specifications and timeframe
  • Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented
  • Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory obligations, prepare submissions to the Statutory Authorities and obtain approvals as necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelors / Master Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years minimum experience in a lead engineering position and / or design of MEP systems similar projects
  • Member of ETEK or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of international standards and CDM 2007 relating to MEP design
  • Experience designing LV/MV infrastructure across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design
  • Previous experience in lead design role. Be familiar with the BIM Design process and be capable of leading projects designed in Revit 
  • Knowledge of Local Administration procedures in Design, Pre-Construction (i.e., Permits and Licenses), Construction and Post-Construction phases
  • Solid working knowledge of Engineering Software and Project Management Software such as IES, REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and ProjectWise
  • Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction
  • Fluent in Greek and English languages
  • Good commercial awareness / risk management skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate with limited supervision
