GRS Recruitment is working with a leading international organisation in Nicosia to recruit a Mobile Developer to join its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mobile developer with 3–5 years of professional experience who is confident working across both native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) and is looking to further develop their expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently develop and deliver mobile features of moderate complexity across native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), using Kotlin Multiplatform for shared logic.

Design and implement solutions within established architecture, patterns and engineering standards.

Write clean, maintainable and testable code across both mobile platforms.

Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards.

Ensure features are thoroughly tested and meet performance, reliability and security requirements.

Support the preparation and delivery of releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Integrate mobile applications effectively with back-end APIs developed by the Full Stack engineering team.

Provide realistic estimates for assigned work and maintain progress through the team's Agile workflow.

Collaborate closely with engineers, technical leads and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Continue developing expertise across iOS, Android and Kotlin Multiplatform.

Share knowledge with colleagues and provide informal support to more junior developers.

Contribute to continuous improvement of mobile development practices, processes and ways of working.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline

3–5 years of professional experience
-
Strong hands-on experience with native iOS development using Swift.

Strong hands-on experience with native Android development using Kotlin.

Working knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
-
Experience working with REST APIs or similar back-end services.

Good understanding of software development principles, testing and clean code practices.

Understanding of mobile performance and secure-storage fundamentals.

Experience participating in code reviews and Agile development environments.

Familiarity with the Apple App Store and Google Play release processes.
It would be considered an advantage to have:

Experience developing retail, e-commerce or consumer-facing mobile applications.

Previous experience using Kotlin Multiplatform in a production environment.

Experience managing App Store and Google Play releases, including phased rollouts.

Experience working within established mobile architecture and development standards.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€25,000 - €30,000 Gross Per Annum
