The ideal candidate should be passionate on offensive and defensive techniques to identify and monitor weaknesses related to information security. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in SOC monitoring, threat hunting, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. The ideal Offensive and Defensive Security Specialist will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating threats while ensuring the organization’s systems remain secure and compliant. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Implement and maintain offensive and defensive security measures to safeguard company assets
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities
  • Develop and enforce security protocols and policies aligned with industry best practices
  • Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security infrastructure and procedures
  • Keep up to date with emerging security threats and technology trends specific to gaming environments
  • Participate in the development of incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies
  • Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Threat Hunting

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role encompassing SOC, vulnerability management, and penetration testing
  • Hands-on experience with SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), EDR solutions, and threat intelligence platforms will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Hands-on and adaptable, able to perform penetration testing, threat hunting, and incident response with confidence and precision
  • Collaborative, working closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security throughout the organization
  • Up to date with evolving cyber threats, tools, and tactics, and able to implement proactive security improvements
