GRS are working closely with a leading Company providing ship management, investment and operational services and currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst to join their team in Limassol.  The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of the marine sector and applicable rules and regulations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work together with the investment manager to provide necessary pre-S&P information
  • Manage delivery of vessels including UWI, pre-joiners, delivery notices, registration etc
  • Preparation and updating of quarterly and ad-hoc investor reports
  • Tasks as requested/assigned by the Operations/HSSEQ Manager
  • Manage and follow up of insurance issues, claims, post fixture, demurrage & bunkers
  • Assist in insurance placement negotiations
  • Manage and supervise the technical managers’ operations team
  • Responsible for time-charter/spot operations for adherence to CP and granting ad-hoc approvals for CP deviations inter alia in trading and/or cargo including delivery and redelivery of vessels
  • Provide input to relevant commercial contracts during pre-fixture
  • Manage speed/consumption performance claims or other claims raised by Charterers of the parties
  • Manage and resolve operational emergencies
  • Hire and invoice control
  • Review Pool performances & distributions
  • Tasks as requested/assigned by the HSSEQ Manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Shipping, Maritime or Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of shore-side operations and S&P experience
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong knowledge of the marine industry and applicable rules and regulations
  • Committed to continuous improvement and learning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
