DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop relationships with client personnel to facilitate completion of work and respond promptly and professionally to client requests for information

Follow engagement cycle processes & procedures

Managing payroll process for clients of medium complexity

Liaising with clients in relation to payroll being calculated
-
Challenging and updating information in the payroll software
-
Calculate payroll, including any necessary adjustments
-
Uploading of bank files
-
Issuing payslips
-
Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures as necessary

Keep internal monitoring tools up to date
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
An MQF Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or certifications in a relevant field

Ideally have 2 years of experience in a similar role

Have a good understanding of the payroll function and have knowledge of the NI rates & their use, and of the tax bands

Be able to use the Office productivity suite and relevant IT software

Fluency in English, both written and verbal
