Join a forward-thinking IT company in Limassol as a People and Workplace Operations Officer. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, people-centric professional with strong organizational skills, high integrity, and the ability to build a positive, high-performing workplace culture within a technology-driven environment. The People and Workplace Operations Officer will be part of the Administration Department and will report directly to the General Manager (GM), working closely with Finance and business leaders to ensure effective people processes, employee wellbeing, and a well-managed workplace. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
People & HR Operations duties
  • Delivering end-to-end people operations support across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, development, performance, offboarding).
  • Managing employee relations matters, including absence, performance issues, disciplinary processes, grievances, and wellbeing cases.
  • Supporting and facilitating performance management processes, objective setting, and continuous feedback.
  • Advising managers on people development, training needs, and coaching approaches.
  • Managing the full recruitment, selection, and onboarding cycle, including succession and retention planning.
  • Supporting reward, recognition, and employee benefits initiatives.
  • Designing, maintaining, and communicating HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines in line with employment law.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, organizational charts, and job descriptions.
  • Coordinating payroll data with Finance and handling payroll-related queries.
  • Managing HRIS platforms and employee surveys.
  • Supporting the development of high-performing teams through structured growth and development plans.
  • Coordinating CSR initiatives, wellbeing programs, team events, and internal committees (e.g. H&S, CSR).
  • Proposing and executing the yearly Administration Department plan and initiatives.
Workplace & Office Management duties
  • Managing office Health & Safety (H&S) requirements.
  • Coordinating internal H&S communication and onboarding presentations.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for workplace facilities, maintenance, cleaning, catering, and office services.
  • Managing internal communication related to workplace guidelines, hybrid working, office policies, and employee queries.
  • Coordinating office layout, furniture, access control systems, parking, keys, and access cards.
  • Supporting a safe, healthy, transparent, and positive workplace environment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR / People Operations / Workplace Operations.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent international HR certification (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of local employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in a technology or fast-paced professional environment.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change.
  • A collaborative team player who leads by example.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • German language is desirable.
