MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Controlling the progress of capital construction plans, compliance of the scope, terms and quality of construction and installation works, as well as the quality of the materials, products and structures used with the approved design and estimate documentation.

Supervising all technical issues related to the project and the construction site.

Managing construction schedules by setting, reviewing and monitoring all relevant construction schedules/deadlines.

Working closely with all construction professionals (Architectures, Civil Engineers, Subcontractors and Site Managers to provide solutions for any delays and time management issues.

Identifying the reasons for delays in the construction and possible deterioration in the quality of the installation works and taking necessary actions to eliminate them.

Overseeing and Coordinating contractors and subcontractors and responsible for their allocations per project.

Providing feedback and solutions to relevant stakeholders in relation to any construction/project issues occurring.

Ensuring that project is proceeding effectively within the agreed budget.

Managing the relationships and solving issues between the stakeholders in the construction sites.

Creating/Updating relevant databases and reports in relation to construction costs to better manage the budgets.

Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure project quality through all phases of project.

Any other duty relevant to the role.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering/ Architecture

Solid experience in a similar role

Knowledge of construction methods and technologies

Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality.

Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices

Fluent in English and Greek (verbal and written)

Computer Literacy (MS Office)

Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
