The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of internal and external projects across the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Project Planning & Initiation
  • Collaborate with senior management to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and risk assessments.
  • Identify required resources (human, financial, technological) and manage project budgets accordingly.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and secure stakeholder buy-in at project inception.
  • Establish project governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and escalation procedures.
Project Execution & Delivery
  • Lead the execution of projects in accordance with approved plans, ensuring quality standards are met at each phase.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, and fostering collaboration.
  • Implement project documentation and communication tools to track progress, manage changes, and ensure transparency.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
Project Monitoring & Control
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure targets are met.
  • Track key project metrics (scope, time, cost, quality) and report regularly to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project financials, including budget adherence, cost forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Conduct regular project reviews, ensuring accountability, alignment with strategic objectives, and continuous improvement.
Project Evaluation & Closure
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Evaluate project outcomes against defined KPIs, capturing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and produce comprehensive project closure reports.
  • Support knowledge transfer, documentation archiving, and operational handovers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing full lifecycle software implementation projects in external client environments.
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams across complex, mid-to-large scale enterprise deployments.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM) is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, managing multiple concurrent projects.
