GRS Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-known brand in Limassol who are currently searching for a Lean Six Sigma–certified Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic operational initiatives focused on process excellence across crew management functions. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and delivering measurable value across the maritime crewing lifecycle from recruitment and retention to training and competence development.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, reduce operational waste, and enhance the quality of crew-related processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process reengineering across the crewing function.
  • Establish and monitor process KPIs; implement control measures to sustain improvements.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects in areas such as crew recruitment, retention, performance, and training with a focus on measurable outcomes and process efficiency.
  • Create structured project plans incorporating Lean Six Sigma tools to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Manage scope, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define project goals aligned with broader organizational strategy.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement using data-backed insights and visual process reporting.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and sustainability of improvements.
  • Ensure projects align with internal quality standards and external regulations
  • Promote a culture of governance, accountability, and transparency in project execution and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain structured project documentation, including process maps, risk registers, control charts, and performance dashboards.
  • Deliver regular updates and post-implementation reviews to senior stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or above) – required.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects, ideally in maritime, logistics, or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of crewing operations, maritime training programs, and compliance frameworks
  • Proficient in project management and process improvement tools
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skilled in using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
