GRS Recruitment is working along with a luxury retail brand, who is setting up their offices in Cyprus and is looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager in Nicosia. The successful candidate should have a proven experience in a related role, be fluent in English be responsible manage and coordinate the company's logistic function including acquisition, warehousing, material management. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement established logistic policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.
  • Manage purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost.
  • Manage logistic activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.
  • Ensure connection between sales, purchasing, production control, traffic and warehousing to support a manufacturing operation and optimize costs.
  • Manage Vendors relationship by setting agreement terms for prices, Discount, Minimum quantities, deliveries, claims, exclusivity
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Department for planned projects and agree on final terms with Suppliers (colors, shapes, prices, MOQ)
  • Support all offices with their market demand and provide the right product for special requests.
  • Manage the agreements terms with third party logistics (forwarders)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  •  Business Degree or equivalent
  •  Minimum 14 years of experience
  •  International Experience in Logistics
  •  Budgetary control; Price & cost analysis
  •  Knowledge in shipping
  •  Fluent in English is a must, Fluency in Arabic or/and French could be considered as an advantage
  •  Computer Literate
  •  Excellent communication & Negotiation skills
  •  Strategic Planning & analytical skills
  •  Attentive to detail
  • Organizational and planning skills
