A fast-growing technology company transforming the maritime industry is looking for a passionate QA Engineer to help shape the next generation of digital platforms used across global shipping operations in Limassol. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of complex digital applications. You will help establish and scale modern QA practices, champion automation, and contribute to delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated).
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, investigate, and document defects, system issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to design and code reviews with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
- Help establish and promote QA best practices, standards, and processes across the organisation.
- Ensure applications meet industry quality, security, and compliance standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Strong understanding of modern development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is beneficial.
