GRS Recruitment are working with a payment solutions provider looking to recruit a Regulatory Compliance Analyst for their offices in Nicosia. If you are looking to grow in a developing industry with a Cyprus registered company holding an EMI License issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus, please send your CV to GRS Recruitment for this Nicosia based Compliance role. 
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and ensuring that the Company complies with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist in the developing Compliance Policies and Procedures in line with the local regulations
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Compliance monitoring programme
  • Propose methods to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of Compliance processes
  • Review marketing, advertising material to ensure they comply with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare compliance reports addressed to the Head of Compliance & AMLCO and/or to the Regulator
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the ML/TF risks associated with the business model of the Company
  • Perform ML/TF risk assessment and report the results of this assessment to the AMLCO
  • Respond to any requests by the Regulator in a professional manner
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance & AMLCO
  • Regular assessment of the overall transaction monitoring programme
  • Dealing with client complaints
  • Monitoring compliance activities within the Company, investigating compliance breaches or violations, and preparing reports for the Head of Compliance
  • Perform any other ad hoc Compliance related matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • English at a high level (read, speech and written)
  • Any comfortable communication in additional languages will be considered an advantage
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of EU-CY regulatory environment
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Any AML certificate/diploma will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in a FI/PS/EMI will be considered an advantage
  • Flexible to travel
  • Willing to attend to several seminars.
