An international FinTech firm is searching for a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join their team in Malta. For this role you will be primarily responsible for identifying and assessing regulatory changes that may impact on the organization. Additionally, you will contribute to the drafting, review, and maintenance of internal policies and procedures as well as to the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and assess regulatory changes that may impact the organization, ensuring timely communication and implementation of necessary adjustments.

Support the execution and review of the Compliance Monitoring Plan to ensure that the control testing framework is effective

Contribute to the drafting, review, and maintenance of internal policies and procedures to ensure they remain aligned with current regulatory requirements and best practices.

Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports and returns to various EU authorities.

Maintain open communication channels and liaise with various EU authorities as well as internal stakeholders.

Maintain organised and secure records of regulatory reports, supporting documentation, and communication for audit and reference purposes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to Investment Firms (e.g. MiFID, EMIR) and/or Financial Institutions (e.g. PSD, EMD).

-2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial industry is preferred.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of Salesforce would be considered an asset.

Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of German and/or French language would be considered an asset.
