Our Client a leading Bank who’s global experience and local knowledge helps their client’s control their Imports / exports, improve cash flow and manage risks are seeking a Risk Management Analyst for their Malta based team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance and will be mainly responsible for monitoring credit, liquidity, capital and market risks through risk oversight, reporting and risk management governance and will assist Senior Management in the Bank’s overall risk control processes.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supporting the Bank’s risk management function through analytical reporting, credit business reviews and monitoring of risk limits in line with the Bank’s risk management framework.
  • Assisting with the implementation and oversight of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Preparing credit applications including supporting financial analyses and risk recommendations
  • Analysing financial reports and business plans in support of the Bank’s new business portfolio development
  • Compiling and analysing market based and industry specific information
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the Bank’s investment portfolio
  • Supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance in handling all deliverables associated with regulatory risk management requirements
  • Assist in the monitoring of ICT and security risk management controls
  • Assisting with compiling new and maintaining existing risk governance policies and procedures
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A professional qualification in Banking, Finance or related areas
  • Good quantitative and analytical background
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both written and spoken business English
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar or related role
  • Knowledge of ICT and security risk management internal controls will be considered an asset
