A successful licenced manufacturer and distributor of FMCG goods in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Sales Manager for their Nicosia based operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, with proven expertise in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams. As a key member of our client’s team, you will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and fostering long-term client relationships. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Formulate and implement sales strategies for assigned territories. Set processes and resources to meet objectives and manage budgets effectively.

Plan and manage key customer activities, control budgets for events and promotions, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Oversee stock levels, return procedures, and sales team performance.

Gather data for forecasts, generate sales reports, and monitor team performance. Meet suppliers quarterly to review business plans.

Identify new customers, propose promotional plans, and collaborate with Senior Management and suppliers to boost sales and market share.

Monitor competition, gather client feedback, and stay updated on competitor products to adjust business strategies.

Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring superior service and long-term business cooperation. Keep customer data updated.

Oversee team performance, set objectives, provide training, and manage recruitment, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.

Handle other related duties as assigned by Senior Management or suppliers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in any other related field. MBA will be considered an advantage.

At least 3 years of previous working experience in a similar role within the FMCG or related industry.

Previous working experience in managing a team of people is a must

Fluency in Greek and English and strong communications skills, both written and verbal
