On behalf of our client, a global leader in industrial solutions, GRS Recruitment is seeking to recruit an Account Manager based in Limassol, Cyprus. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing technical and commercial support to clients. This role requires a strong blend of relationship management, strategic planning, and hands-on technical know-how. The position will also involve international travel to meet clients, strengthen relationships, and support business development initiatives.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the regional sales strategy.
  • Define account plans including objectives, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across all organizational levels.
  • Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, particularly in the cement and mining sectors.
  • Develop new customers and introduce new products to existing accounts.
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and diversification.
  • Understand customer needs, resolve issues, negotiate offers and contracts.
  • Provide basic technical services such as inspections, wear monitoring, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate technical and commercial data in eQuip and Salesforce.
  • Analyze customer drivers and market trends to generate reliable market intelligence.
  • Produce periodic reports according to company standards.
  • Map stakeholders across different levels and manage relationships effectively.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, health, and safety standards (EQHS).
  • Undertake regular international travel to visit clients, attend meetings, and represent the company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical, Materials, or Mining preferred).
  • Previous experience in account management, ideally within industrial or technical sectors.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Solid technical background with skills in inspections and wear monitoring.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or Turkish will be considered a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
