GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established and reputable professional services firm who are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing client accounting records across a range of industries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and tax regulations, and coordinating closely with the Audit and Tax departments. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and review accounting records, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, VIES, and other tax requirements.

Collaborate with internal departments to meet client financial reporting needs.

Manage accounting for companies operating in the international investment and technology sectors.

Communicate effectively with clients and authorities in coordination with management.

Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing international clients.

Experience with eSoft accounting software will be considered an advantage.

Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal.

IT literate with strong knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office.

ACCA qualification (partly or fully completed) will be considered an asset.
