Our client, a reputable Financial Services provider based in Limassol, is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Our client is a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Operating from its headquarters in Limassol, the firm specializes in providing investment advice as well as the reception and transmission of orders. Its services are offered to a diverse client base across Europe, in full compliance with applicable EU financial regulations, including MiFID II. The Senior Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of all front-, middle-, and back-office administrative functions. This position is critical to maintaining operational continuity and ensuring ongoing compliance with CySEC regulations, MiFID II, and local employment legislation. Working within a small and collaborative administrative team, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, supporting cross-departmental functions, and liaising with management, regulators, service providers, and internal staff. This is a hands-on role requiring initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a regulated investment firm environment.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Regulatory Administration:
  • Manage and maintain client onboarding files, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML requirements.
  • Oversee timely execution of periodic client file reviews in line with regulatory obligations.
Operational Support:
  • Assist with the coordination and documentation of internal administrative processes.
  • Support HR and payroll processes, employee onboarding, and related compliance tasks.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure all administrative practices are aligned with CySEC and MiFID II regulations.
  • Prepare and support audit and regulatory inspection documentation as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
Organisational Mastery:
  • Able to manage high volumes of tasks and strict deadlines with calm efficiency.
Integrity & Confidentiality:
  • Maintains the highest standards of ethical conduct in handling sensitive client and employee information.
Attention to Detail:
  • Accurate and thorough in handling documentation, reporting, and regulatory records.
Communication & Collaboration:
  • Comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and service providers.
 
CySEC Basic or Advanced Certificate:
  • Not a prerequisite, but the successful candidate will be expected to undertake and pass the relevant certification exam in the near future.
