Are you looking to enter the Gaming sector? A leading firm, based in Malta is searching for a Senior AML Executive to join their young and professional team. You will report to the AML Manager and perform supervisory duties and assist with the overall development and strategies of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the AML Manager on the day to day operational and strategical matters.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the AML/CFT Unit.
  • Assist and where necessary, spearhead initiatives and projects interrelated to the evolvement of the AML Unit.
  • Manage the AML Executives/Officers’ tasks and performance.
  • Lead and supervise the AML Executives/Officers with AML/CFT compliance examinations conducted on Gaming Licensees, independently or jointly with the FIAU.
  • Draft, review and sign detailed reports of the findings identified during AML/CFT examinations in a timely manner.
  • Present the findings together with supporting evidence to the relevant administrative and/or judicial bodies.
  • Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on AML matters and queries.
  • Attend and represent the firm in meetings and conferences both local and abroad, when necessary; and
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • In possession of a degree related to the role. Candidates with degrees in the following fields will be given preference: Law, Accounts, IT and Criminology.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Ability to organise and present findings and recommendations in a logical and comprehensible manner (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent command of English language (both written and spoken).
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a people / team leadership position.
  • Strategic, critical and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to take ownership and act in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Leadership skills and ownership of work and projects; and
  • Sound knowledge of AML/CFT Laws and Regulations governing the EU and Malta.
