We are partnering with a leading livestreaming technology platform based in Limassol to recruit a Senior Android Developer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobile developer to work on a high-scale, consumer-facing application used by millions globally. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing Android applications, contributing to performance, scalability, and user experience.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, improve and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin

Implement new features and enhance existing functionality

Ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and backend engineers
-
Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and memory leaks
-
Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practice development standards

Participate in the full software development lifecycle
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Android development
-
Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin
-
Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
-
Experience building complex UI components and animations
-
Experience with multithreading and performance optimisation
-
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
-
Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger2
-
Experience writing unit tests
-
Good command of English
-
Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions
