GRS Recruitment is working with an established international insurance brokerage seeking to recruit a Senior Insurance Broker for its Cyprus operation.
This is a senior commercial role based in Limassol, operating within a lean structure and supported by UK-based technical and placement teams.
The role will suit an experienced broker currently working within a global or regional brokerage environment who is seeking greater autonomy, direct client ownership and a more entrepreneurial platform.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate insurance clients
  • Generate new business across the Cyprus and wider EU market
  • Act as the primary client contact for senior decision-makers (CFOs, owners, risk managers)
  • Design and place complex commercial insurance programmes across:
    • Cyber Insurance
    • Professional Indemnity (PI)
    • Directors & Officers (D&O)
    • Financial Lines
    • Property & Casualty
  • Maintain and develop insurer and underwriter relationships across London and EU markets
  • Work closely with UK-based technical and broking teams on multinational placements
  • Cross-sell and expand existing client relationships
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance broking within a recognised brokerage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial Lines, Cyber, PI and Liability insurance.
  • Demonstrable track record in new business and client retention.
  • Experience dealing with corporate, regulated or international clients.
  • Strong understanding of London and/or European insurance markets.
  • Commercially driven, with ability to operate independently.
