MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal due diligence of borrowers and UK properties at all stages

Litigation management of loan recoveries and default loan monitoring
-
First point of contact with UK Solicitors and full correspondence management

Liaison with external advisor.

Reviewer of all legal documentation, and identification and mitigation of legal risks

Member of both lower and upper-level credit committees
-
Involvement in legal appointments, fee management and legal panel selection

Remain updated with relevant regulations and legislation for the London Credit business and provide memos to the team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in law from UK Universities. Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be considered an advantage.

Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.

At least 5-7 years post qualification experience

Experience in advising on commercial contracts with strong contract drafting and analytical skills.

Fluency in Greek and English, both written and vebral

Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Well organized and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Ability to use initiative and a willingness to embrace innovation and continuous improvement.

A committed and motivated individual, ambitious and eager to learn and develop new skills.

Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and professionalism.

Any related Credit financing experience will be deemed an advantage.
