In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including the delivery of POYC services, while ensuring high standards of patient care. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support and oversee dispensary workflow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Actively contribute to and support the delivery of POYC services, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to service protocols.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Perform administrative duties, including inputting supplier invoices, reconciling delivery dockets, checking and receiving stock, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards and professional communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Support management with operational tasks and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy or dispensary environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with POYC services will be highly regarded.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification would be considered a strong asset.
  • This position involves a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, worked on a fixed, predetermined schedule.
