Our client, a well-established legal firm based in Malta, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Social Media Executive to join their dynamic marketing team. The Social Media Executive is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s multi-brand social media strategy and community building by increasing brand awareness, support marketing efforts, and engaging with the online community. This role will focus on creating visually appealing content, including videos, reels and on-trend assets, monitoring of social media channels, analysing performance and implementing new strategies to drive growth and engagement across all digital platforms. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Social Media Platforms 
  • Implement and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing objectives. 
  • Adopt the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices aimed at enhancing online presence and engaging viewers. 
  • Track industry trends and benchmark best practices to keep our digital approach current. 
Social Media Content Creation & Management 
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, video/reels, on-trend types of postings) for all social media platforms. 
  • Ensure all social media content complies with company policies, brand guidelines, and legal requirements. 
  • Collaborate with rest of the marketing team and other internal functions to ensure brand consistency while maintaining campaign objectives. 
  • Support and assist with website content management and updates as required from time to time. 
Community Engagement & Communication
  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Support the planning and execution of online events, contests, and promotions to boost engagement. 
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to amplify campaigns. 
  • Coordinate with the Website & Digital Specialist to manage content on external platforms and engage with stakeholders to maintain accurate information and respond to community inquiries. 
Performance Analysis & Reporting 
  • Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including AB testing, budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis. 
  • Provide administrative support for marketing tasks, including approvals, file management, and preparation of internal materials. 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field are considered an asset. 
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and executing digital campaigns that deliver measurable results.  
  • Strong written and spoken English. Professional knowledge or native languages are considered a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and content creation abilities.  
  • Solid understanding of current social media trends, AI and AEO and current best practices.  
  • Ability to develop and implement both strategic plans and day-to-day social media activities.  
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and basic knowledge of paid social and lead-gen advertising. 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.  
  • Experience with influencer partnerships, community engagement, and basic graphic design or video editing.  
  • Knowledge of AEO, content optimisation, and brand reputation management for social media. 
  • Knowledge of SEO and CMS is considered a plus.
