A long-standing Shipping company with offices in Limassol is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Supply Chain Manager for their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals who belong to different departments (i.e. warehouse, operations, etc.) and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the company. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and optimize the supply chain business unit operations, consisting of the Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and Production functions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Responsible for the logistics of the company (cost effective and timely delivery of materials to destinations) and manage the supply chain process from import to shipment to customer delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and build strong supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain stock controls and stock management; monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demands.
  • Develop and execute purchasing and warehouse procedures and rules.
  • Monitor, develop, optimize, and execute import and export procedures.
  • Plan, monitor and execute production schedules.
  • Create and update assigned reports and presentations.
  • Draft policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
  • Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
  • Coach employees on best practices for managing customer/supplier/contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks.
CANIDDATE PORIFLE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any other business-related studies.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or have experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent market awareness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Able to actively contribute to an effective and agreeable team environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
