Our client, a Malta-based Accounting and corporate services company providing Accounting, Audit, Tax & Advisory Services now have an opportunity for a Tax advisory Specialist in Malta to support their organization. Ideally, you would have experience with Maltese tax as an accountant or lawyer dealing with taxation matters. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Researching, analysing, and interpreting changing tax legislation in both Malta and overseas.

Meeting with clients and collating information.

Provide tax advice including the drafting of tax reports in relation to both domestic and international tax matters.

Ensuring clients are continuously in compliance with income tax legislation.

Estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters.
-
Succession planning.
-
Assistance with group restructurings.
-
Planning work to ensure deadlines are met.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Have a thorough knowledge of Maltese income tax related matters.

Have a solid understanding of EU current and proposed Directives including but not limited to ATAD, the Shell Directive, DEBRA, the Interest and Royalties Directive and the Parent Subsidiary Directive.

Results driven, with excellent planning and organisational skills.

Able to work on their own initiative.

Have an excellent command of English.

Be analytical with good problem-solving skills, ensuring high quality service delivery.

Work with other departments to provide solutions to clients.
