Well-established Corporate Services Provider has asked GRS Professional Recruitment Malta to recruit a Tax Manager, who will be part of a fantastic team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for our client’s portfolio. The selected candidate will have a good level of experience preferably from a Big 4 Background, or alternative a medium/large sized firm, who can enter the company with your level of experience and recommendations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing tax advice for clients as may be relevant.
  • Assisting private clients with their fiscal obligations in terms of the various tax residency schemes.
  • Performing research on ad hoc local, EU and international tax developments.
  • Review tax computations and Tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
  • Review tax compliance documents such as shareholders’ registration forms and claim for refund forms.
  • Respond to Tax-related queries from clients and relevant authorities.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to address and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients.
  • Provide training to colleagues and clients on Tax regulations and procedures.
  • Leadership qualities to be able to lead and inspire team members.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Candidate residing in Malta with a minimum 5 years of experience in Tax compliance and/or tax advisory services, or equivalent experience in a tax role.
  • Be in possession of a university degree in Law or Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
  • Any other professional qualification in Tax and experience in other areas of tax compliance will be considered as an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tax regulations and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
