An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Specialist to join a global Accounting & Advisory firm in Malta. As a key member of the Tax team, your primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance with all aspects of Direct Taxation and ensuring compliance with Tax regulations. The perfect candidate will have a deep understanding of Tax legislation, regulations, and procedures, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review tax computations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Review and manage Tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.

Respond to Tax-related queries from clients and relevant authorities.

Liaise with clients and internal teams to address and resolve tax-related issues.

Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Qualified accountant (Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA or related field).

Minimum 2 years' of experience in Tax compliance and/or advisory services, or equivalent experience in a tax compliance role is required.

In-depth knowledge of Tax regulations and procedures.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong client relationship management skills.
-
Any other professional qualification in Tax and experience in other areas of tax compliance will be considered as an asset.
