Are you an experienced Travel Consultant with a strong background in marine travel, corporate travel, and advanced Amadeus expertise? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We are expanding our operations in Limassol and are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with international clients, manage complex travel arrangements, and become part of a global travel network specialising in Marine Travel, Corporate Travel Management, Crew Travel, and AOH (After Office Hours) Travel Support. With a strong international presence and a reputation for delivering exceptional service, we provide tailored travel solutions for the maritime and corporate sectors, ensuring seamless travel experiences worldwide.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Travel Planning & Client Consultation
  • Engage with clients to understand travel requirements, preferences, budgets, and operational needs.
  • Provide expert advice and personalised travel solutions for both corporate travellers and seafarers.
  • Build long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and proactive communication.
Flight Reservations & Ticketing
  • Manage complex flight bookings using Amadeus GDS.
  • Handle reservations, ticketing, reissues, refunds, fare calculations, and queue management.
  • Secure the most cost-effective and efficient travel solutions while maintaining service excellence.
Marine Travel & Crew Logistics
  • Coordinate global marine travel arrangements, including crew changes, offshore travel, and seafarer itineraries.
  • Manage urgent and last-minute travel requests for vessels, ports, and maritime operations.
  • Ensure compliance with visa, transit, and immigration requirements.
Corporate Travel Management
  • Arrange flights, accommodation, transportation, and travel-related services for corporate clients.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate travel policies, negotiated rates, and approval workflows.
  • Deliver efficient and cost-effective travel solutions that support business objectives.
AOH (After Office Hours) Travel Support
  • Provide professional AOH travel support and assistance during travel disruptions, emergencies, cancellations, and schedule changes.
  • Act quickly to resolve urgent travel issues while maintaining a high level of customer care.
  • Support travelers across multiple time zones in a 24/7 operational environment.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Deliver outstanding customer service before, during, and after travel.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure every traveler receives a seamless and stress-free experience.
Industry & Destination Expertise
  • Stay informed about global travel trends, airline policies, marine fare developments, and destination requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, travel suppliers, and industry partners.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel, marine travel, or a travel management environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Amadeus GDS, including:
    • Reservations
    • Ticketing
    • Reissues
    • Refunds
    • Fare rules
    • Queue management
  • Strong experience handling marine fares, crew changes, and seafarer travel logistics.
  • Experience providing AOH (After Office Hours) support or working in a 24/7 travel operation.
  • Solid understanding of corporate travel policies and travel management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing, documentation, and itinerary management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional, customer-centric, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field.
  • Certification from a recognised Travel & Tourism program.
  • Additional language skills will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience working with multinational clients and global travel operations.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €35,000 - €40,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative; any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
