Our client, a prominent confidential corporate company with a team of over one hundred employees and growing is working alongside GRS to recruit an Underwriting Officer to join their growing team in Malta. The selected candidate will ideally have previous experience within the Insurance industry and preferably an insurance related qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deal with customers (face-to-face, via email, and over the phone)

Respond to queries and explaining products and services to clients.

General office duties

Obtain, handle, and process of customers documentation.

Branch support and relieving.

Issuing of quotations, policies, and renewal.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Preferably, a related insurance qualification (or part qualification)
-
Previous experience within the local insurance industry
-
A sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership.
-
People skills and ability to handle different (and ‘demanding’) customers.
-
Excellent customer service skills.
-
Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese.
