On behalf of our client, a service provider company with offices in Limassol, GRS are looking to hire a VOIP Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting our Global Network and security systems (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, WAF, Advance IP services). They will also provide high-level technical support for security and network systems, to include development of network and security documentation, and leads works projects in order to upgrade to new and/or improved Network and Security equipment and procedures. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analysing existing VOIP networks
  • Installing and configuring IPBX servers and systems
  • Troubleshooting VoIP network issues
  • Manage call centres
  • Develop configuration and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 1+ years of proven experience in a VoIP field (SIP protocol)
  • Good understanding of computer networking (OSI model, TCP/IP stack, common problems and troubleshooting IP networks)
  • Hands-on experience on SIP troubleshooting
  • Experience with Unix systems (CentOS/Fedora, Debian/Ubuntu, etc)
  • Experience with VoIP software and hardware (configuring, installation, provisioning)
  • VoIP carrier’s interconnection, billing, rates, ability to analyze and escalate issues
  • knowledge and experience with SIP servers like OpenSIPs or Kamailio
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix/Grafana
  • Team player and positive attitude 
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • High service orientation and strong customer facing along with excellent communication skills
  • High-level English - verbal and written 
  • Self-learning capabilities 
  • Experience working with ticketing solution – advantage
