MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Updating the books of the companies in accordance to international accounting standards
-
Bookkeeping and recording of transactions in the accounting system
-
Bank accounts reconciliations
-
VAT and VIES preparation and submission of returns
-
Issuing of invoices
-
Preparation of debtors/creditors reconciliations
-
Client communication and general correspondence
-
Liaising with the company’s external auditor
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University Degree in accounting/economics/finance or other related field
-
Any relevant qualification (CAT/ACA/ACCA) is an advantage
-
At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role
-
Excellent written /verbal communication skills in Greek and English language / Fluency in English language is required

Knowledge of Esoft software package is considered as an additional advantage

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)

Good knowledge of applying VAT to local/international clients
-
Good knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Legislation
-
Good knowledge of the payroll system of Cyprus
-
Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
