A leading Investment firm is searching for a Compliance Administrator to join their team in Malta. You will report to the Head of Operations and your main focus will be to provide administrative support across various teams within the Company, including Operations, Compliance and Client Management Teams.  The ideal candidate will be fluent in Maltese and ideally have experience in KYC and great administrative skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the onboarding process of account openings for new clients onto relevant systems and gathering of KYC documentation in line with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines as set by Compliance;
  • Ensure client data is accurate and up to date at all times. Assist with setting clear and consistent guidelines to record any update to personal client data as well as investment transaction limits;
  • Contribute to the implementation and controls for daily processes;
  • Prepare, organise and store information in paper and digital form;
  • Verification of telephone recordings;
  • Acting as a back-up for the receptionist in their absence; greeting visitors at reception; answering phone calls; managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms;
  • Any other duties as may as assigned from time to time by the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of the Operations and other departments
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Fluent in Maltese language
  • Previous work experience working as an administrative support within the financial industry is considered an asset
  • Being able to work independently and have a can-do attitude
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Time-management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
