DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing general trust and corporate administration duties and assisting with related compliance matters including liaising with third parties and regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Supporting, mentoring and assisting the team members with the administration of client portfolios
  • Reviewing of payments prepared for approval
  • Attending clients’ Board Meetings and drafting of board minutes and resolutions, including those of Listed Entities
  • Maintaining organised and up-to-date client data, performing Client Risk Assessments, Transaction Monitoring, and File Reviews
  • Preparing and presenting reports to the Board of Directors of Trident Trust with respect to its team operations
  • Leading and managing a client-driven Corporate Services team, and enhancing client experience and satisfaction with our services, including; following up with the team on tasks assigned, making sure these are delivered within the respective timelines, managing and enhancing the performance of the team through effective feedback and communication via ongoing one to one meetings and bi-annual performance appraisals, identifying areas for development and training required and enhancing the performance of the team through teamwork and knowledge sharing
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role specifically working on Maltese registered companies with a local CSP
  • Experience in / knowledge of the investment services industry will be considered and asset
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification/s, ideally in a related field will be considered an asset
  • Sound working knowledge of Company Law and local AML legislation and procedures
  • A thorough understanding of the company secretarial role including statutory record keeping, corporate governance, and the compliance obligations impacting upon the administration area
  • Organisational and project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and client demands
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, and the ability to establish positive relationships with clients and work colleagues
