An international group of companies operating within the events, conferences, and digital marketing industry is partnering with GRS Recruitment to recruit an Event Coordinator & Client Relations Associate to join their growing team. This role plays a key part in the planning, coordination, and execution of international conferences, working closely with the Head of Operations. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth delivery of high-profile events. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment combining events coordination, client relations, and operational support.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct research and analysis to support event planning and execution
  • Participate in conference planning meetings and contribute to operational discussions
  • Engage with potential clients and support the delivery of presentations and communications
  • Assist in converting leads and maintaining accurate lead tracking and reporting systems
  •  Liaise with clients, sponsors, exhibitors, and stakeholders to support event delivery
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure smooth execution of all event requirements
  • Manage communication across internal departments to ensure timely response to client requests
  • Support full event logistics, including Gift arrangements, on-site event support, post-event attendee communication, invoice coordination and administrative follow-up
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance event experience and engagement
  • Support marketing team with conference participation, including Ticket and booth bookings, travel arrangements, accommodation coordination.
  • Organise internal company events, team-building activities, training sessions, and CSR initiatives
  • Ensure high standards of organisation, communication, and operational delivery across all events
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in events, client relations, marketing coordination, or similar role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in client-facing roles or stakeholder coordination will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to last-minute changes
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €22,000 - €32,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, and any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
