A UK-based Family Office is working in close partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Russian/Ukrainian speaking Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop, oversee and enhance the financial management function of the family office and the portfolio of companies, ensuring robust financial strategies, support for business growth and investment decisions, as well as compliance with financial regulations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop comprehensive financial strategies that align with the family office’s long-term goals and objectives. Provide financial insights that aid strategic decision-making.

Lead the budgeting process, provide accurate financial forecasts, and implement budget controls to manage expenditures and improve financial performance.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the family office’s financial status and results. Analyze financial data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Work closely with the CEO / CIO to assess and manage investment portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the family office’s financial strategies.

Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies to protect the family office’s assets and financial health.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements related to financial operations. Maintain effective internal controls over financial processes and reporting.

Manage the family office’s cash flow, liquidity, and funding to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.

Communicate financial results and strategy effectively to family members, board members, and external partners or stakeholders.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing group that meets the office’s needs.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.

At least 10 years of financial management experience, with a significant portion in a senior role. Experience in family offices, investment management, or similar financial sectors is highly advantageous.

Proficiency in financial software and systems, excellent knowledge of financial regulations, and strong capabilities in financial analysis and modeling.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholder groups.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and finding effective solutions.

High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to manage confidential information sensitively.

Capable of adapting to the changing needs of a dynamic family office environment.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to foresee financial trends and plan accordingly.

Able to meet critical deadlines and manage high-priority issues.

Fluency in English and Russian/Ukrainian, both written and verbal

Flexibility to travel to the UK for business purposes.
