A well-standing construction and real estate group of companies with offices in Paphos is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join its dynamic finance team. This is a key role that provides strategic financial insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making at the highest level. The successful candidate will be a Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong analytical, reporting and interpersonal skills.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts/budgets
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status
  • Perform financial modelling and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify trends, advise company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, bankers, the wider finance team and other teams of the company, to streamline reporting and financial processes.
  • Design and implement monitoring solutions
  • Be the key point of contact of banks, including provision of quarterly reporting to them
  • Collaborate with the wider team to aid the implementation of Business Intelligence software
  • Work on special projects and ad-hoc assignments
 CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial analysis, business advisory, or within a Big Four accounting firm.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and financial software is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, financial regulations, and corporate finance principles.
  • Excellent presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and drive process improvements.
