GRS is seeking a Group Compliance Manager for our client, a renowned international Forex Broker, to join their team in Limassol. This role involves leading the compliance team and ensuring adherence to local laws across the Group's entities. The ideal candidate will provide regulatory advice, manage compliance inquiries, and implement a Group-level Compliance Risk Assessment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
 
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and changes across all operating or potential jurisdictions.
  • Ensure the company’s full compliance with all applicable regulations and local laws.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards.
  • Guidance and assistance to the Compliance Officers appointed for Group entities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance assessment program in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews of products and services.
  • Maintain and update licenses, ensuring renewals and reporting obligations are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes. Prepare and present regular compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
  • Address and manage client complaints.
  • Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes
  • Prepare and collaborate with other departments to automate regulatory reports, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance matters, including adherence to internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Ensure that all employees are informed and trained on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of compliance controls, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance-related activities, decisions, and reports.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for audits or inspections.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/Finance/Economics/Business or a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience within the CFDs/Forex industry working in a similar role
  • Relevant professional certification (i.e. CySEC Advanced) is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong multitasking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, rigorous, methodical, and focused.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English Language both written and spoken.
  • Analytical thinker, and a problem solver with the ability to think creatively and “out of the box”.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details.
