GRS Recruitment are working with a well-established IT company seeking to recruit a HR Assistant in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and other administrative tasks. You will work closely with management and employees to ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively and in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate resources.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.

Promote a positive work environment and employee morale through effective communication and engagement initiatives.

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Support performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.

Process employee onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews.

Stay up-to-date on changes in employment legislation and proactively address any compliance issues.

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files, contracts, and policies
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Previous experience in HR roles, preferably as a HR Assistant or similar position.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
