A successful freight forwarding company based in Limassol, are working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a talented HR Officer. The successful candidate will be contributing to the company’s success by being an active member of the HR Department. You will be providing your valuable support to the department and personnel in the implementation of the HR policies and procedures to facilitate the achievement of the HR targets and objectives.   • Work closely with all departments and advise personnel on HR procedures and requirements.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process and maintain complete records on all new recruits and existing personnel.
  • Process and document all matters relating to employee compensation, pay and benefits.
  • Liaise with governmental authorities for matters related to employment legislation, work conditions, funding, trainings, social insurance benefits etc.
  • Assist managers in the performance of employee appraisals and employee development plans.
  • Monitor the working time and leave of absence of employees.  
  • Provide guidance to the employees on their entitlements from participation in insurance schemes, provident fund schemes and coordinate actions between employees and providers.
  • Keep records and assist the HR Manager in implementing the disciplinary and grievance, termination and resignation procedures.    
  • Holder of University degree in Human Resource Management
  • At least 3 years of previous working experience in a similar role
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, company policies and procedures
  • Keen to complete tasks in an orderly way.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity of character
  • Ability to keep information as confidential and discreet.
